Remembering Holdon

Three years ago today, our beautiful angel Holdon passed away. Every year on this day, I go through the two scrapbooks I made for him. This year, in memory of him, I am sharing some of my favorite pages from his books. I am also including a link to the short story my husband wrote shortly after our son passed away. My husband’s story tells it all. It’s the story of our first pregnancy, the story of all the emotional ups and downs of having a baby in the NICU, and the story of our brave little angel, Holdon. We love you Holdon!

    1. Thank you for the compliment! As a graphic designer, it is always great to hear! For this website, I used a WordPress theme and then customized it to look the way I wanted. I also designed my header and inserted it. I would say for blogging, there’s no need to reinvent the wheel when there are many great themes to start from, and with a little css, you can customize it the way you want. This way, you can guarantee that it will work well because the great people WordPress have already set up their templates to work well with all browsers. My professional site (www.getinthejar.com) is a bit different. I set it up using css and flash and it was a bit of a challenge getting it work in all browsers, but I just had to run some cross browser tests to make sure it worked well. Thanks again. I hope this helps!
